The Aroma Journey is a structured sensory workshop designed to develop precision in aroma recognition and wine evaluation. Led by Veronique (Cecilia) Barretto, WSET Level 4, the session draws upon the methodology used in advanced wine study and professional sommelier training. Participants will work with the complete Le Nez du Vin 66 Aromas Collection from France, widely regarded as the benchmark reference system for systematic aroma identification.

In addition to the professionally calibrated aroma vials, guests will evaluate fresh reference ingredients—such as bell pepper, citrus, herbs, spices, and seasonal fruits—to reinforce sensory memory through comparative analysis. Guided blind exercises, structured tasting discussion, and fault recognition drills will sharpen analytical skills while expanding technical vocabulary. By the end of the evening, participants will have strengthened their ability to assess wine with greater clarity, confidence, and precision in accordance with WSET-level standards.
